Nambi Academy – Read Across America

Nambi Academy celebrated Read Across America with a wonderful field trip to the Mountain House Library. The children had a great time exploring the library, listening to story time, enjoying playtime, and picking out books for their own reading time.
Field trips are an important part of our curriculum, where children get the opportunity to learn by exploring the world around them.
A heartfelt thank you to our parent volunteers—this trip would not have been possible without their support. Special thanks to our staff for their wonderful support as always.
We truly appreciate everyone’s time and support in making this a memorable experience for our kids!

HAPPY VALENTINE DAY ❤️❤️❤️
We had a wonderful time today celebrating Valentine’s Day! It was amazing to see how excited the kids were getting ready for the party and how beautifully they performed.
We didn’t just enjoy today’s party — we’ve been celebrating all along by making crafts, doing rock paintings, enjoying music and movement, and truly vibing in the Valentine’s spirit all week long.
Their enthusiasm while exchanging Valentine’s cards with their friends truly showed the effort and love they put into celebrating each other. It was such a heartwarming moment to witness.
Thank you to all the parents for making this happen.

We kick-started 2026 with great excitement! This month’s theme was packed with interesting activities and joyful learning experiences.
We welcomed the New Year by crafting beautiful greeting cards. One of the most exciting highlights was our Penguin Theme—the children had an absolute blast during the Penguin Parade! 🐧
We also learned about the Seasons, where our Show-and-Tell stars confidently presented their favorite season.
Learning about the Five Senses was extra fun (and tasty!) with cookies—yes, we saw them, touched them, smelled them, tasted them, and even heard the crunchy eating sounds! 🤣🍪
A month full of smiles, creativity, and hands-on learning!

Our December month was full of fun themes and exciting activities. We started by decorating the Christmas tree with ornaments made from our own crafts. The children had a wonderful time showing their creativity and teamwork.
We also enjoyed Cookies Theme Week by reading the book Mandy’s Cake and baking delicious cookies together in the classroom. The children were so engaged and enthusiastic throughout the activity.
Our holiday party was super fun, highlighted by a special visit from Santa and exciting gifts for everyone. The children’s performances were wonderful—their excitement, confidence, and efforts were truly amazing and made the celebration extra special.

Our November month was filled with fun activities! We began with a Mushroom theme, followed by creative craft projects. Our discussions then moved on to junk food and healthy food, which the children enjoyed exploring.
The Show & Tell was amazing—each child impressed us with how confidently they presented their healthy and junk food items. One of our favorite songs this month was “Mr. Turkey, Mr. Turkey, Run Away!” The children loved practicing the dance and engaging in dramatic play.
We also expressed our heartfelt thanks by starting a holiday food drive, teaching the importance of kindness and giving. Finally, we wrapped up the month with a wonderful Thanksgiving party in our classroom, which everyone enjoyed.

We had a wonderful field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Golden State Family Farm's
This trip was thoughtfully incorporated into our curriculum to support and enhance the children’s learning experiences and overall development. The kids had an amazing time exploring the farm and sharing the day with their friends — their excitement and joy were truly wonderful to see!
We would like to take this moment to thank our parents for their continued support and for volunteering as chaperones. Your help made this trip a great success.

We had a wonderful time exploring our "Community Helpers" theme!
The highlight was making special cards together to show our appreciation, and I truly value the time and effort parents put into delivering those heartfelt messages to our local heroes.
Our dress-up days were a big hit — the children looked fantastic in their favorite community helper costumes and proudly shared who they were and how they help the community. It was such a meaningful and fun way to connect learning with real-life heroes.
Thank you all for making this theme so memorable!
