🌟 AMAZING NEWS! 🌟

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community last year, we are kicking off 2026 with a $10,000 rollover dedicated entirely to our Home Delivered Meals program! This phenomenal start significantly helps us tackle the program's deficit.

However, the need is still great. Our core funding source for these vital meals has not increased, meaning we face rising food and operating costs without proportional support.

Your continued support ensures we never have to turn a senior away. Please consider donating today to help us bridge the remaining gap and keep warm, nutritious meals coming!

The Alger Conservation District has partnered with ALTRAN to ensure everyone in our community has access to local food pantries — at no cost for the ride.

If you or someone you know could use transportation to any of the food pantries listed below, we’ve got you covered:

📍 Alger Community
Tues & Thurs • 12–3:30 pm

📍 St. Vincent de Paul
Mon & Wed • 12–3 pm

📍 Trenary Tavern
Mon & Tue • 2–4 pm
Wed–Sun • 9 am–2 pm

📍 Nifty Thrifty
Wed & Sat • 11 am–2 pm

📍 GM Helping Hands – Grand Marais
Tue & Thurs • 3–5 pm
