All of our dogs are 100% purebred, genetically tested and cleared through Wisdom Panel, and AKC registered Golden Retrievers. By clicking the Photos tab of our page, you can find photos of our dogs, as well as our previous litters. We let our puppies leave for their new homes at 7-8 weeks of age. Before taking your puppy home, it will receive age appropriate deworming every 2 weeks, first set of shots, and wellness exam by our licensed vet. We send our puppies home with a take home bag that includes puppy food, a toy with mom's & siblings' scent, medical record, 30 days of free pet insurance, and more! We feed our puppies Fromm Gold Puppy food. After our dogs have bred, we begin taking names for the waiting list. When the puppies are born, we will begin taking non-refundable deposits/holding fees to reserve your spot for pick order. We take these payments through Venmo. The remaining cost of the puppy is due in CASH at time of pick-up. After sending your deposit, you will be invited to join an exclusive Evans Farm Golden Retriever Family Facebook group for the litter. We will post weekly photo and/or video updates to the group as well as milestones that the puppies have accomplished. This group will also be used for "pupdates" for you to post as your puppy grows! Our puppy selection process goes by order of deposits received. When the puppies are born, we will start at the top of the waiting list and move down according to how many puppies we have. For example, if someone is second on the waiting list for a female, they will have six hours after the birth announcement to send in their deposit. If we don't receive the deposit, we will move to the next person on the list. The person who sends the second deposit for a female will have second female pick of the litter. Each puppy will wear a different colored ID collar so we can tell them apart. Puppy Pick-Out Day begins at 4 weeks. We will set appointments for each buyer so that picks are made in deposit order. If a buyer is unable to come in person for the appointment, they can choose their puppy virtually (FaceTime). Puppies can be picked up the weekend after they turn 7 weeks old or the weekend after they turn 8 weeks old. We offer to meet/deliver puppies for a fee. Buyers are required to sign a contract agreeing that they will have their puppy seen by their vet within 72 hours of pick-up. The contract also states that buyers cannot rehome the golden without our written permission. Getting a new puppy is so exciting!
