Happy Halloween from our Park View family to yours!

Today we glowed up with loads of fun alongside our wonderful friends from Adoration. We played blackout bingo, danced our way through the Monster Mash and The Addams Family, and enjoyed all the classic Halloween tunes we loved as kids. It was a frightfully fun and exciting day filled with laughter, music, and glowing smiles! A big thank-you to Adoration and Home Helpers for helping out with this special event and making it such a memorable day for everyone! 💜🎃

🌿 This Week’s Wellness Win 🌿
At Americare, wellness is a way of life through Flourish Wellness.

Dimension of Wellness: Emotional
Activity: Worry Water
Story: Today our residents participated in our monthly “Worry Water”. I provided each resident with a small bowl of water to symbolize peace and renewal. Residents took time to reflect on any worries they were carrying, then gently released those concerns into the water. The shared experience created a calm, supportive atmosphere and reminded everyone they’re not alone in their feelings.

Why it matters: Water symbolizes cleansing and emotional release helping residents wash away worries and welcome in a sense of calm and clarity.

Story: Today, residents enjoyed a refreshing bus outing to Walmart! The trip offered a wonderful change of scenery, fresh air, and the chance to explore the community environment. Residents enjoyed picking out personal items, engaging with others, and feeling connected to the world around them. Outings like this help nurture independence, confidence, and joy in everyday living.

🎃 Halloween Social Fun! 👻

Today our residents enjoyed a spooktacular Halloween-themed social filled with laughter and treats! We made cauldron cookies and monster cupcakes, snacked on mini cheese balls, candy, and pizza slices while we waited for our spooky creations to bake. It was a frightfully fun afternoon full of sweet memories! 🕸️🧁🍬🍕
