It was an honor to help memorialize the life of Donald Becthold with this beautiful memorial. Working closely with his family, we aimed to create something that truly reflects his life —and we’re so grateful to hear it resonated!

"Robyn and Roy were outstanding to work with! Robyn helped me set up the time, asked a head of time what I was thinking - at the time I really wasn't sure other than the type of stone we wanted. I gave her a few things, and she had Roy pre-design a few things a head of my appointment that I could share with my family and get their feedback. When I got there, they made time for me, asked about my Dad and who he was. We went over designs and we changed a few things, all during this time they were mindful to what I was trying to achieve. During the whole process Roy kept in contact and sent pictures of the designs. My Dad's stone is beautiful and the detail is impeccable. When I look at the stone I can totally see my Dad with his pipe."

“I retired from the Muscatine Police Department in 2023, after 35 years of service.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, Korie, all of our kids, Drake, Natalie, Ellyse, and Madalyn. I also love Iowa State, Notre Dame, and the St. Louis Cardinals.”

“After retiring from Kirkwood Community College after almost 15 years, I started working for Greenwood Cemetery now going on 2 1/2 years ago. I am excited to join the Leyda, Burrus, and Metz team!

I enjoy boating, traveling and spending time with my kids and grandchildren.

NEW OFFICE LOCATION!

We’re excited to announce as of July 1st, LBM Monuments is proudly serving a new community!
LBM now has a sales office in Muscatine, IA, conveniently located within Greenwood Cemetery.

LBM is proud to be the area’s only memorial company to letter, carve and etch all of our memorials right here in southeast Iowa, allowing you to be part of creating your memorial through the entire process.

What does this mean for the Burlington office?
LBM will continue business as usual from our main office in Burlington. Our office, production, and installation staff will all continue to operate from Burlington, while Muscatine will also have a team of sales and design staff to serve families too.

We are honored to now be serving the communities of Muscatine and surrounding areas!
