We were never meant to absorb the pain of the entire world before breakfast.
The human nervous system wasn’t designed for endless headlines, tragedy loops, and outrage served on demand. No wonder so many of us feel heavy, restless, and disconnected, we’re overstimulated, not broken.
But step outside… and everything changes.
The trees aren’t arguing.
The wind isn’t rushing.
The moon isn’t competing.
The earth isn’t demanding your attention… she’s offering your nervous system a place to land.
Nature doesn’t profit from your fear.
She doesn’t need you angry to keep you engaged.
She simply exists… steady, ancient, and alive.
When you feel overwhelmed by the state of the world, it’s not weakness, it’s sensitivity. And sensitivity is sacred. It means your soul still knows what peace feels like.
Go where your body can remember safety.
Go where your thoughts can slow down enough to hear your own spirit again.
Go where the sky is bigger than the noise.
The world has darkness, yes…
but it also has forests, oceans, stars, birdsong, and sunsets that ask nothing of you except to witness them.
And sometimes, healing doesn’t come from knowing more…
It comes from looking up 🌙
