To begin a “catching up” so I can share the “now”...
..THIS happened in June of 2020..., I had (and have maintained each day of our lives together) the great, huge, immense, honor (and thrill of my life) of marrying Thomas Banducci.

This has been one of The.Best.Decisions.

Ever.
(in my life, of course!)

I love these words. I received them, rolled lovingly into a mini scroll and tied with string, from a sweet server at a downtown restaurant, over a year ago. They were handwritten by her - she would randomly offer her words of encouragement to people she met everywhere in her life.

They meant a great deal to me then. They still do now. But, for different reasons.

When I received them - my life had been turned upside down in several life events that had me reeling in every imaginable way: my divorce was nearly finalized, I had met - unexpectedly fallen in love and was building a relationship with a beautifully sensitive and intelligent man, unbeknownst to me - my health was failing, my youngest child was recovering from a serious infection, my daughter had blessed me with a son-in-law, my middle son was finding his way through early adulthood without support from those he had trusted, I was rediscovering myself at break neck speed...life was moving faster than I had ever recalled.

In. Every. Direction.

It was profound. Exhilarating. Terrifying. Maddening. Shocking. Wonderful.

Several months prior to this - I had chosen to remain off of social media entirely to allow myself time for healing as well as to avoid hurting anyone else directly or indirectly involved around my life.

But now, more than 2 years later, I am ready to share life’s events again. There is too much goodness to not to. My family is thriving, healing, growing, full of wonderfully inspiring moments...

Besides, I’m rested, regenerating, and am in the midst of rising. It’s time to fully engage once again.

The girl got married! (my girl that is). The heart of my heart has been blissfully wedded to her beloved. We celebrated all the love on Friday, September 21st. It was a sweet, precious day overflowing with intimacy, joy, love, bliss, beauty, poetry, promises...truly so so much more. I am overjoyed to have another son to love and to see my daughter so deeply happy. Many blessings and

So...long time no post right? Right!

Well, this post has a tiny bit of catch up, a big surprise and is packed with all the emotion (at least for me!). Here we go...

The company (and people) featured in these images is one I LOVE.

I love their products. I love their core values. I love their mission. I love the founders and family behind it. And, I LOVE where they are going.

If you have not yet followed them, or discovered their delicious products, or learned of their powerful socially-conscious-give-back-programs built into the fiber of their existence; then I strongly encourage you to do all of the above.

Here is the big surprise: As of this week I am fortunate enough to call my home away from home. Again!

In the midst of building I was also working with and for just a short time ago. My time with them was fulfilling, satisfying and blessed.

This past year, while living, breathing, eating and sleeping all things ‘farm’; has been one amazing show of support for our endeavors, by each of you, and I/we are humbly, terrifically, hugely grateful. Not one purchase or kind word has been forgotten. Nor will it be.

Seasons are changing, however, (metaphorically and physically!) and my heart is so full to be able to return to a company that operates out of all of the values I hold dear. That embraces our community in the same way our farm has. That considers you as important as I do. That invites you to sit at the table as often as we have.

And there’s the catch up. Since there won’t be a great deal happening here...please follow me and find me where the story continues....
Much love to all of you...

After a devastating, tragic, and deadly attack at a birthday party on Saturday night...there is a candlelight vigil being held downtown Boise at city hall. Please join our amazing Greater Boise Area community to share compassion, kindness and love to the survivors and witnesses of this brutality. Link for the page is in my bio.

Have you ever started something, a small project or a large endeavor, that required a great deal from you? One that you loved, enjoyed, was passionate about and knew was good and right? Even though it may cost you a little? Or...a lot?
•••
And maybe there’s just enough success and momentum that you keep pushing hard, pouring into it, giving more, without ever hitting pause to reassess? Maybe not even looking up? Or...breathing?
•••
In yet another honest moment here on instagram; it’s where I am. Between the farm being blessed with awareness and business and interest and showing potential for growth, and, having some life happening on the personal side of things...well...I’ve been pushing. Hard.
•••
It’s time to reassess. To not push hard for the sake of movement but to use some wisdom and step back to make a few better choices. And ‘work’ hard (not push hard) in the right places.
•••
In order to do that, has made one heck of a difficult decision to not be at the farmers market for the month of July, beginning today.
•••
Our farm shares will still operate and be delivered. We will still be selling our pastured whole chickens. We will still have eggs available. We will still be active on social media. But it’s time to look up. To breathe.
•••
We will be getting more planting done, more seeding done, some dreaming and planning done. And much less ‘pushing’ will be happening.
•••
I have faith and belief, that making difficult and painful decisions, ones that may even seem like going backwards, are the ones that offer the best forward momentum later. So, here’s to some forward momentum! 🥂🍾...For the farm, for me and to anyone out there relating to these words...
•••
Let’s breathe.

Yesterday’s market was a beautiful day. always has amazing vendors, customers and staff. We are so grateful to be a part of the experience each week. We love our repeat customers that are becoming friends, meeting new faces and sharing our hand tended vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers with anyone who stops to chat.
•••
We couldn’t help but show off the carrots we are sooo proud of! Not only are they stunning to look at but the flavor is rich and intense. The greens also make a fabulous pesto or flavor punch in your salads and stir fry.
•••
More are on their way for next weekend! We hope to see you there!

Honest moments:
••••
Farm Feast Two is cancelled as we advertised it. The last two weeks have been difficult on a personal level. This has prevented me from truly having my head all in and getting everything done I needed to. As a result of not being all in the event did not get promoted well so we are making an adjustment.
••••
The golden lining in not getting enough tickets sold to , is that we are still having an event but it is to bid farewell to a beloved couple and business owners that are regulars and caterers in the Treasure Valley: if you know or have been a customer of of you are invited to this new event! Message me for details to the potluck style dinner to wish Geedes and Eddy well as they make their move to Edmonton, Canada.
••••
We will post more about this soon! Thank you to any who may have had plans to attend our for understanding the change in plans.

These images you guys. I wanted to share them with you to promote our next dinner and movie night. It is coming up fast and we have so many great things about that night to share with you.
••••••••••
But this post isn’t about the next event. This post is about what a joy it was to work with so many amazing people to create an evening like we had last month. And I don’t mean just our vendor-partners. I mean all of our guests too.
••••••••••••
We all came together by choice on one night to spend time together. We created beauty in our environment. We smiled at each other, learned each other’s names, asked who we were, what our interests are, what our connections were.
•••••••••••••
We ate together, talked together, laughed, listened and savored the evening. Together.
••••••••••
There was poetry and music to soothe our souls and minds, education of farming techniques, history and dreams for the farm, learning of other mission minded local businesses and even some fun giveaways.
••••••••••
But the best part for me? Was everyone there. Being intentional. Joyful. Being together. Sharing the awe in our lives even if without words.
•••••••••••
I hope you see the life and life giving happening in these images. They were captured by one of my favorite photographer/artists. many gratitudes to you sir.
