A skin biopsy is a quick in-office procedure used to evaluate suspicious spots on the skin. During the biopsy, a small sample of skin is removed and sent to a lab where specialists examine it under a microscope to determine if skin cancer or another condition is present.

What Is Red Light Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)? 🔴✨

Red Light Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is an advanced, in-office treatment that combines a light-sensitizing solution with targeted red light energy to treat damaged or acne-prone skin at the cellular level.

1️⃣ A photosensitizing solution (commonly aminolevulinic acid) is applied to the skin.
