Why do we perform Sun Salutations in yoga? 🙏🏻🌞
Sun Salutation or also called in Sanskrit Surya Namaskar is a sequence of asanas that we practice in yoga to give our body the opportunity to control our mind focusing on inhale and exhale through movements, to help the energy flow through all our channels or also called nadis, to increase the blood temperature and produce heat inside us to secure a safe practice.
In the spiritual level we surrender to the God Sun. Offering this prayer for giving us the main source of energy.
