Happy Opening Day ⚾️—sharing a photo of my young Dad and one of his favorite player’s quote. He taught me to swing big—and I still am… it just looks a little different right now, but every little thing is gonna be alright.☺️ my philosophy has always been- It’s not what you can’t do—it’s about what you can do. I am recovering from a double mastectomy, lymph node removal, and total reconstruction…. This is today’s post-op appointment instructions and how I’m turning it into a positive! I am not able to use my arms at all, work, nor walk or exercise any part of my body still and that’s a new chapter for me—so the positive now I’m building more strength and new to me; grace. And giving my body what it needs to heal fully for what’s next. I’m so grateful for the support surrounding me right now.
