I am a non-profit organization and rely on help by good animal loving people like you. Welcome to our page where we are dedicated to saving and caring for feral felines in our community through the power of education and the practice of TNR. My name is Rusti, and I have built a little bit of kitty heaven. I am dedicated to saving as many ferals as I can and am passionate about educating others on how to combat the astronomical numbers of feral cats world wide ! I release most ferals I trap but will keep all kittens, pregnant mommas and sick or injured kits. The kits I have at my facility now are ones that never left once released or have a lower survival rate in the swamp, so I have integrated them into my existing colony. It's hard work and it's not cheap, but I do what I can with what I've got. So if you saw my reel the other day with Richard the raccoon who came up to my deck steps, you might enjoy this follow up. I was out doing my chores and walking through the sanctuary and captured two juvenile raccoons who I am pretty sure are Richard‘s children! They are just about as cute as they could possibly be! 🦝😸

It never ceases to amaze me how many negative comments I get when I post a kitty next to my face or around my mouth. Cats are so much cleaner than dogs and dogs lick people‘s faces all day long. I have been a feline educator for over 40 years. Please before you leave any negative comments just ask me a question if you’re concerned. I will be happy to tell you the truths. Otherwise just enjoy the cuteness. 😸🤪

This beautiful girl, Andie Marie Tilton and I have a fun bond in the evening times where she gets to lick the spoon! She is still very feral and does not like to mingle with the other kits as far as coming up out of the main enclosure into the deck enclosure for wet food. She has 24 seven access to dry Food and chooses that rather than mingle with the other kits to get the wet food. so I always like to share the spoon with her at the end of the evening so she gets a little bit of that treat. She sometimes comes up to the deck enclosure to eat some wet food, but it’s not very often. So we enjoy the spoon licking bond that we do every evening. ❤️😸

Yes, I know I need to clean my vent. And don’t worry, I did not let any of the kits get to the wasp. I ended up killing him with a flyswatter. 🪰😝😸.

Remember to keep your kits safety in mind during the holiday. There is a lot of extra activity going on and lots of new and different things for them to get into. Remember to also limit the human food you give them. You don't need a kitty with an upset tummy. Watch out for ribbons as you open packages. You don't want your kit to accidentally ingest them. Be smart and stay cautious.

It’s RICHARD !! Yes I named him. And before you go and say he’s got rabies cause he’s out during the day, you need to understand that down here in the swamp these mischievous little cuties are out day and night all the time. It is normal down here and does not mean that they are sick or anything else. They’re just doing their swamp thing. 🦝.
