Massachusetts Bill H.1927 Needs Your Support

"The historical impact of colonial witch-hunts is very serious. Its imperative the family stories behind both historic witch-hunts and modern day Spiritual and Ritual Abuse be brought to the forefront. Retelling these stories will continue to shed light on all abuse situations, reversing history in it's tracks."

Massachusetts Bill H.1927 is an essential step toward finally acknowledging the grievous harm done to innocent people—children and adults alike—during the witch-hunts of the 1600s.

Of all those accused at Salem in 1692–1693, many still have no formal acknowledgment that they were wronged.
• Dorothy Good, only four years old, and her infant sister who died because of inhumane jail conditions.
• Eunice Cole, whose exoneration effort in what is now New Hampshire (then part of Massachusetts) failed by just four votes.
• Dorothy Faulkner of Andover and her sister Abigail, both under the age of ten when they were accused.

And beyond Salem, eight people were convicted in Boston for witchcraft—five of them were hanged—and all eight remain legally guilty to this day. Their names, too, deserve to be cleared for the millions of descendants alive now.

Passing H.1927 is an act of long-overdue justice, compassion, and historical truth.

If you believe it’s time to right these wrongs—please support Bill H.1927 and encourage others to do the same. History cannot be changed, but we can change whether we continue to ignore or repair the harm.
