If you’re planning eyelid or brow surgery, it’s important to consider any injectable treatments you’ve had in the months leading up to your procedure.

Watch as Dr. Biesman shares why Botox® in the crow’s feet should be fully worn off before surgery, why he always dissolves under-eye filler before surgery, and the one area he injects a couple days prior to brow lifting procedures.

These details may seem small, but they help ensure the smoothest recovery and best outcome possible. What questions do you have about preparing for eyelid or brow surgery?

Heavy upper lids and under-eye puffiness can create a fatigued appearance as we age. To address this patient’s concerns, Dr. Biesman performed upper and lower blepharoplasty that left her looking beautifully refreshed.

For the upper lids, a conservative amount of skin was removed through a well-hidden incision placed in the natural crease of the eyelid, restoring definition without altering her natural eye shape. In the lower lids, Dr. Biesman used a hidden incision on the inside of the eyelid to reposition and reduce fat pads that were creating puffiness—no external scar needed.

If you're noticing changes in the eye area and wondering whether surgery could help, we’re here to walk you through your options.

Behind every successful surgery is a great team. For Dr. Biesman, that includes Molly Katz, RN, his first assistant and a trusted resource for the majority of our patients through every stage of their surgical care.
In this video, Molly shares what her role means in the office and the O.R.

Are you surprised to learn how involved she is throughout the process?

Acne scars form when deep bands of scar tissue tether the skin down, creating uneven texture. Subcision is a technique that releases those fibrous bands beneath the surface, allowing the skin to lift and smooth. Once those bands are released, laser resurfacing—in this case, using UltraClear®—can improve the tone and texture of the skin while encouraging collagen remodeling.

Dr. Biesman frequently combines subcision and laser resurfacing to address both the structure and surface of acne scarring. Because scarring affects multiple skin layers, achieving meaningful improvement takes time, patience, and a series of treatments spaced over several months. Each plan is customized based on the type and depth of scars, as well as each individual’s response to treatment, ensuring that every session builds on the last for smoother, healthier-looking skin that continues to improve over time.

Tear trough filler is a precise treatment that helps soften hollowness or shadowing beneath the eyes, an area where small changes can make a big impact. The undereyes are complex and delicate, requiring advanced skill and a deep understanding of facial anatomy to achieve superb outcomes safely. With skill and artistry, a highly experienced injector can achieve a smooth, natural long-lasting result.

If you’ve noticed under-eye hollowness or dark shadows that make you look tired even when you’re not, schedule a consultation to discuss whether tear trough filler is right for you.

Many people assume their eyelids feel heavy because of excess skin, but often, heavy brows are the real issue. When the brows sit lower than they should, your forehead muscles have to constantly contract to lift them, and over time, that muscle tension can lead to fatigue and even headaches.

One of the surprising benefits patients often notice after a brow lift is that by restoring the brow to a more natural position, the forehead muscles can finally relax, easing the headaches that came from working overtime.

In this video, Dr. Biesman explains more about the connection between brow recontouring and headache relief. If your forehead always feels tense or tired, your brows might be working harder than you think. Have you ever noticed this? Let us know in the comments!

Eyelid surgery can make a significant difference in how refreshed and awake you look. In this patient’s case, Dr. Biesman performed both upper and lower eyelid surgery to remove excess skin from the upper lids that had begun to rest on her lashes and smooth under-eye puffiness. In the after photo, her eyes appear more open and youthful, but not “different.”

Every eyelid surgery Dr. Biesman performs is tailored to enhance the patient’s own features with precision, balance, and a natural aesthetic in mind. If you’re considering eye rejuvenation, call to book a consultation and get all your questions answered.

So many patients share the same concern before treatment: “I just don’t want to look unnatural.” We don’t want that either—and we work hard to make sure you never will.

At our practice, every consultation is completely individualized. Dr. Biesman takes time to study your facial anatomy, understand your goals, and create a treatment plan that enhances your features without changing what makes you “you”.

In this testimonial, our wonderful patient shares how personalized care from Dr. Biesman and Molly Katz, RN, helped her feel seen, supported, and confident in her results. If you’ve been considering treatment but want a natural, tailored approach, we’d love to meet with you!

For decades, patients with darker skin tones were told that laser resurfacing wasn’t safe. The concern came from older laser technologies, which created more heat in the skin and could trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), a condition where skin becomes darker after inflammation or injury.

The breakthrough UltraClear® laser has changed that. Its unique “cold fiber” technology delivers energy in a highly controlled way, stimulating new collagen while minimizing excess heat. That means smoother texture and more even tone with a much lower risk of pigment darkening, even for patients who were once considered poor candidates for laser treatments.

At our practice, every laser resurfacing treatment is tailored to your skin type to ensure the safest treatment and best results. Give us a call to set up a skin rejuvenation consultation and learn about all the options available!

By carefully injecting the muscles that pull the brows downward, muscle-relaxing drugs like Botox can create a subtle lifting effect, often called a “Botox brow lift.” This nonsurgical approach can open the eyes, smooth lines, and give the upper face a refreshed appearance with no downtime and results in days.

However, for patients looking for more dramatic or long-lasting transformation, a surgical brow lift may be a better fit. If you’re noticing heavier brows, schedule a consultation and we’ll help you decide which treatment is best for your aesthetic goals.
