Do you deal with nagging low back pain…especially on one side? 🤔😬
It might be your Quadratus Lumborum (QL) asking for some love.
This deep core muscle helps stabilize your spine—but when other muscles aren’t pulling their weight, the QL steps in to do everything…and gets tight, cranky, and overworked. 😩
Here’s the twist most people miss:
👉 It doesn’t just need stretching…
👉 It often needs strength + coordination.
Enter one of my all-time favorite (and surprisingly fun!) resets:
💥 The “Butt Walk” 💥
Yes…just like you did as a kid 😄
This simple movement helps:
✨ Strengthen the muscles that support your low back
✨ Improve coordination between your brain + body
✨ Gently wake up your nervous system
How to do it:
👉 Sit tall with legs extended
👉 Bend your elbows
👉 Use your hips to “walk” yourself forward and backward
👉 Try 2 rounds of 10–20 steps
It may look silly…
…but your spine will thank you 😉
Bonus tip:
Feeling a little unsure or wobbly? Start on a yoga mat and keep your hands lightly on the floor beside you for support 💛
Small, simple movements like this can create BIG changes over time.
Let me know if you try it! 👇
