🌎🌱 Happy Earth Day! At Stafford by the Bay, a Springpoint affordable housing community, residents came together for a meaningful tree planting. Several gathered to help and observe, learning about the importance of trees in supporting a healthy environment—from improving air quality to providing habitat for wildlife. They also had the opportunity to learn more about the specific tree species planted and how it will grow and thrive for years to come.

It was a simple but powerful way to connect with nature, give back to the planet, and grow something beautiful together. 🌳

It was a sweet afternoon of gratitude at Butler Senior Community! This Springpoint afforable housing community recently hosted a special gathering to celebrate the incredible people who help make the community stronger every day—the dedicated resident volunteers and amazing administrative professionals, Claire VanStrander and Diane Tomaszkowicz.

A heartfelt thanks was also given to Public Health Nurse Maureen Weller and Public Health Educator Brittany Bernstein, who support residents each month with wellness checks, education, and food bag deliveries.

With 35 volunteers in attendance, the room was filled with appreciation for the many ways these team members show up, give back, and make a difference. Of course, no celebration is complete without cake and coffee—and plenty of smiles to go around!

Earlier this month, residents at Plainfield Tower West—one of Springpoint’s affordable housing communities—took an exciting first step in a brand-new opportunity: the Senior Police Academy.

Ten residents attended an orientation led by Detective Franklin of the Plainfield Police Department, where they learned what to expect from this innovative six-week program focused on Traffic Safety, Crime Prevention, and Emergency Preparedness.

This meaningful initiative is made possible through a Springpoint Foundation grant, which helps bring engaging, educational programs directly to our affordable housing communities. Through philanthropic support, the Foundation enhances residents’ quality of life by funding opportunities that promote safety, independence, lifelong learning, and community connection.

The Senior Police Academy is designed to empower older adults with practical knowledge and hands-on experiences—from fraud prevention and personal safety to emergency response and community policing—helping residents feel more confident and prepared in their daily lives.

Participants will be officially sworn in at a special ceremony on May 20 at the Plainfield Performing Arts Center, with classes beginning June 4 right at the community.

We’re proud to partner with the Plainfield Police Department to bring this first-of-its-kind program to Plainfield Tower West—and even prouder of the residents who are stepping forward to learn, grow, and lead. 👏

Springpoint hosted its annual Sales Banquet earlier this month—bringing together teams from across the organization for a day of learning, collaboration, and meaningful connection.

It was one of our most productive and interactive banquets yet, filled with thoughtful brainstorming, shared insights, and renewed energy around our collective goals. The event concluded with a special awards ceremony, recognizing the individuals and communities who consistently go above and beyond in sales excellence.

What a fantastic turnout at Plainfield Tower West’s Resident Satisfaction Survey event! 🎉

It was wonderful to see so many residents come together to enjoy raffles, prizes, refreshments, and an amazing performance by Charles Rivers and Friends. The energy truly reflected the strength of this tightknit affordable housing community.

This event is just one of many resident celebrations happening across our Springpoint communities—and each one is an opportunity to connect and be heard. The Holleran Resident Satisfaction Survey plays a key role in that.
