“Begin again.
Little moments.
Tending to the flowers.
Cutting the fruit.
Opening the curtains so that the entire sky can greet you.
It’s never easy but, no matter.
Steam from the tea so quiet.
An open book, and door, and arms.

You have time.
Time to create a life that you can stand up straight in.
Even though life may beat you down.
Hard.
Even though things, situations, and people you love may be taken away from you so that your arms can memorize the grace of letting them go.
Even then, especially then, begin again.

Remind yourself that nothing really dies, rather, it transforms.
Everything and everyone you have ever loved lives in the mysterious memory of your cells. Turning. Healing. Renewing itself.
Until one day, a photograph of something or someone very dear, long gone, visits your mind and you bow your head with appreciation.

Meanwhile, take your pain to the sea and your trouble to the mountain.
Leave it there and walk home clean.
When failure knocks and rattles and quakes, let it.
Watch it make a fresh canvas of you.
Failure, that great teacher, is kinder if you thank her as you are getting up off the floor. She knows something that you don’t know: that she is usually the last face you will see before breaking through.
Such a little light in the crack of the door.

But today, if you are wading through the waters of loss or confusion: begin again.
Open the avocado.
Draw the bath.
Call your best friend.
Gather the books.
Play your favorite album.
Write.
Create art.
Open your arms. Move your legs.
Lovely, little blessings. Whispering to life that you won’t give up.
Not ever.”

Forgiveness isn’t always the answer as Jeff states in this quote. The question is can we find peace inside ourself with the unforgivable and grow ourselves in the process?

Remember, you are the one you’re waiting for…..turn toward yourself, hug the little one inside and tell him/her/them that you’ve got them….you’ve arrived….❤️

You are not the same person you were some time ago, before the breaking began...

Life brought you to your knees and you were forced to go deep within to find your center and a remnant of ease and peace.

Yes, the Soil Of Your Soul has been tilled. Oh, so deeply tilled.

You feel the pieces of your soul... you see them...

You kneel down to pick them up.

As your hand reaches out, your holy heart tells you that what hurts inside needs YOU. You are called to show up and pick up the pieces that hurt. Pick them up with love and tenderness. Imagine them sacred. Whole and holy.

So, kneel down to your holy site... Say a prayer. Bow.
Gather the courage to mend your heart. Battles are still going on all around. But you are needed... You are ready!

Because you are the medicine for what hurts inside of you...
Yes... YOU... You are the wounded and the healer.

I am walking with you.
By your side.
I cheer you on.
I celebrate you.
I hold space for you.

And if you wish, I can till with you. I can unearth with you.

Because I see you. I feel you.
Because I am YOU...
And you are me...
Because in the end,
we are all archaeologists
of our own inner lives................................................

Love this quote about trauma!
We always live with our trauma but instead of it containing “us” we hold it with conscious love and heal ourselves with it:

You do not heal 'from' trauma.
You simply come to know yourself
as Life Itself.
And you turn towards the wounded place.
And you flush it with attention,
which is Love.

And maybe the wound will always be with you.
Maybe you will always walk with the hurt.
But now, you hold it. It doesn't hold you.
You are the container, not the contained.
It doesn't control you any longer, the wound.
Because it is drenched in awareness now.
Drenched in You.
Loved by You.
Even celebrated by You.

You do not heal 'from' trauma.
You find healing 'in' the trauma.
You find yourself at trauma's sacred core.
The One who is always present.
The One who can bear
even the most intense feeling states.
And survive.

The Indestructible One.
The Infinite One.
The Powerful One.
You.
