Caring for someone as they age is a privilege that comes with both joys and challenges. You witness their perseverance, love and grateful spirit but you also see the changes that come with time. One of our dedicated DSPs at McGuire Memorial shared the story of her dear friend Michael - a man who taught her the value of patience, keeping a sense of humor, and what it truly means to show up for someone every day.

We are proud to share that their beautiful story has been published in the 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 publication through the Institute on Community Integration | University of Minnesota. It’s a touching reminder of the heart and dedication that define the work of Direct Support Professionals everywhere.

Aging brings its trials, but it also deepens the bonds we share. To every caregiver walking this journey ~ your compassion makes all the difference.

🍂 Mission and Heritage Week was a time of inspiration and reflection across all Felician-sponsored ministries. This year’s theme, “Widen Your Tents with Charism and Mission,” brought us together in prayer, service, and gratitude, reflecting on the powerful work of the Felician Sisters of North America and all who serve in education, health care, and social services.

The week concluded with a beautiful Fall day filled with fellowship, hayrides, and a cozy bonfire - a perfect way to celebrate our mission and heritage! 🍂

🎭What an incredible performance! The Life Enrichment Adult Programs lit up the stage with their musical production of Moana 2 - full of joy, talent, and meaningful storytelling. As Moana says, “There comes a day when you're gonna look around and realize happiness is where you are.” 💫

This show was a true reminder that happiness is found in the moments we share and create together. Bravo to the entire cast and crew! 👏
