McGuire Memorial is a co-sponsored ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, Our Lady of Hope Province and the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Forming a joy-filled community motivated by Christian values, McGuire Memorial is committed to providing comprehensive services to people with intellectual and physical disabilities that may include complex medical conditions: offering supportive services to their families and caregivers providing specialized services to individuals on the autism spectrum.

Last week, we had the incredible honor of attending A Night to Shine at North Way, Sewickley Valley ~ a beautiful evening sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

From the red carpet entrances and cheering crowds to the dancing, crowns, and endless smiles, every detail reflected love, dignity, and joy! Each guest was honored as a king or queen, and the impact of that celebration was felt throughout the entire evening.

The volunteers and organizers poured their hearts into creating a truly magical experience, and it was evident in every moment. We are grateful to have been part of such a powerful event that reminds us that every person is wonderfully made and deeply valued. Already looking forward to next year!

For three generations and over four decades, the McCarls have dedicated their time, talents, and hearts to ensuring all those that we serve can live life to the fullest. From Fosterโ€™s vision to Kevin, Jim, and Michael ~ and the many family members, friends, and colleagues theyโ€™ve rallied along the way ~ their impact is immeasurable! We are blessed that the naming of our sensory room, located at our Intermediate Care Facility, will honor their familyโ€™s legacy. Blessed Mary Angela Truskowska, foundress of the Felician Sisters, gifted her sisters and all who follow her example with a powerful legacy. Her life was rooted in faithfully doing Godโ€™s will, responding to the needs of the Church, and committing herself to prayer, sacrifice, and service.

Her legacy lives on through the five Core Values of the Felician Sisters, which continue to guide every Felician sponsored ministry:
