When it comes to communication, you want to make a person feel heard , not interrupt them or simply dismiss them. Sometimes people can become very long winded, over explain themselves and engage in very intense conversations because they felt unheard as a child or others simply ignored them . There is a difference between communicating with someone that wants to hear you versus that are simply not interested in hearing you. You shouldn’t have to over explain

Therapy can be difficult but consistency is the key with therapy . It is very important to keep a routine , prioritize self care and work on self growth. I appreciate my clients that are consistent and it’s an honor to be your therapist.
