Listen up first-years, friends, and future FOOTies!!!
Today is the registration DEADLINE! REGISTER FOR FOOT TODAY!

Andrew Ballard sends his Fluv from France, where he is currently studying film. He reflects upon the magic of the FOOT experience and how FOOT launched him into a fantastic first year.

"The transition to Yale can be an uphill battle at times, so I decided to go out on a limb, sign up for FOOT, and prepare for metaphoric hills by hiking up real ones! One year later, I can't believe who I would be if I hadn't. While it first seemed daunting to commit myself to four nights of mountaineering with classmates I hadn't met yet, my fears washed away when I connected with the genuinely kind and supportive leaders and fellow FOOTies on my trip. In less than a week, I returned to Yale from the mountains with friends I felt I'd known forever and with new excitement for the loving community of which I was about to become a part of."

I came out of my FOOT trip feeling like I belonged at Yale and ready to take on freshman year. I'd do it all over again if I could-- and I can, because I get to lead some of you amazing people this fall!! :)"
