I share creativity.
I'm a therapist who specializes in using creativity for healing. I’ve always loved making art, and thought about becoming an art therapist. Ultimately I decided to become a clinical social worker, and along the way I realized I wanted to use creativity in my therapy work with clients. I meet lots of other therapists who want to use art and creativity too, but for a variety of reasons can’t attend art therapy school. I created a practice, “Mindful Creativity”, which I use with my individual and group clients. Unlike art therapy, we focus on mindfulness practices and incorporating DBT and CBT therapies. Clients gain insight and learn coping skills while also getting to relax and enjoy expressing themselves. I love to share my methods with other therapists, and Mindful Creativity has revitalized my practice and my life!
