Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is proud to have been present and to advocate in support of this important milestone.
The approval to expand services at Existential Counselor Society and establish a freestanding women’s program focused on substance use and trauma represents a critical step forward for our community. Programs like this create access to care, strengthen continuity, and provide women with the trauma-informed, recovery-focused support that has long been needed locally.
Our Director of Business Development, Brittany Ringo, along with Quintana Shelby, former Discharge Coordinator and current Mental Health Technician, attended and spoke on behalf of Silver Oaks to advocate for the approval of this program. Their presence reflected our ongoing commitment to supporting responsible expansion of services that directly impact patient outcomes beyond inpatient stabilization.
Silver Oaks believes in building strong, ethical pathways of care that extend into the community. This approval represents hope, collaboration, and forward progress, and we are honored to support initiatives that will change lives for years to come.
Today marks an important milestone; the vote passed to expand services at Existential Counselor Society, and with it, our first freestanding women's program focused on substance use and trauma.
This victory belongs to the community. To everyone who spoke up, showed up, and believed in the need for trauma-informed, women-centered care… thank you. Your advocacy, courage, and commitment made this possible.
This program represents more than expansion; it represents access, hope, and thoughtful care where it's been needed for far too long.
As we look toward 2026, I'm excited and deeply honored to support the building of something that will change lives and strengthen our community for years to come.
Grateful for the collaboration, the trust, and the shared mission ahead.
