On this episode of Grieving Out Loud, we share powerful stories from the Trail of Truth at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. 4,000 tombstones honored lives lost to substances, and families shared their experiences, heartbreak, and calls for change.

Angela Kennecke, host of Grieving Out Loud, recorded these conversations on-site, giving families a platform to speak candidly about loving someone with substance use disorderโ€”the fear, the struggle to find help, and the pain of loss.

These are raw, unfiltered stories that need to be heard.
