New London Community – Stay Safe 🫶

With rising water levels in our area, we’re asking everyone to take extra precautions.

Your safety matters to us:
✔ Avoid flooded roads
✔ Follow directions from emergency personnel
✔ Respect road closures and barricades
✔ Check on neighbors if it’s safe to do so

We’re in this together. Our first responders are out working—please help us by staying cautious and aware.

Stay safe, New London 💙

❄️❄️New London First Responders Safety Reminder During Blizzard ELSA❄️❄️

During heavy snow and blizzard conditions, furnace intake and exhaust vents outside your home can become blocked by snow or ice 🧊When this happens, dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) can build up inside your home.

🚨 Take a few minutes today to check:

• Clear snow away from furnace intake and exhaust pipes
• Make sure vents are at least 1–2 feet free of snow
• Check that outside vents are not covered by drifting snow
• Ensure your carbon monoxide detectors are working

⚠️Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless and can become deadly quickly⚠️

Stay safe New London Community, and remember to check on neighbors, especially the elderly.

Some of our NLFR attended Fox Valley RTAC and Grand Chute Fire Department engaging educational training :Man vs machine extraction and care!
If you don’t know already, auto extrication is the process of removing a vehicle, or its components, from around a person who is trapped within the vehicle due to a collision. These hands on trainings gives our responders the hands on training for the capability to perform the essential duties of the job, minimize further injuries, and give quality care to our community!
