Today is World Diabetes Day.

As a Type 1 Diabetes advocate, I’m reminding everyone that diabetes is not a one-size-fits-all condition. T1D is an autoimmune disease — not caused by diet, not caused by lifestyle, and not something we can simply “fix.”

Every day takes strength, planning, resilience, and community support.

Today we raise awareness, push for access to life-saving supplies, and stand with every person living with diabetes worldwide.
