This favored food and music festival celebrates and honors the humble po-boy and showcases the Oak St. Come join 40 food vendors with over 60 versions of the legendary po-boy sandwich, local artists, and live music on multiple stages in appreciation of one of the Crescent City’s most distinct and delicious creations. Our Story

The 2019 Oak Street Po-Boy Festival (formerly the New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival), dates will be announced soon. The Oak St. Po-Boy Festival is designed to honor the humble po-boy and to showcase the Oak St. business corridor and surrounding neighborhood. This event features some of New Orleans’ finest restaurants, artists, and musicians; all coming together in appreciation of one of the Crescent City’s most distinct and delicious creations... The legendary Po-Boy Sandwich. And what goes better with a po-boy, then a cold beer?! We believe a good po-boy goes naturally with a good pint of beer— so much so, that this year’s event will also showcase regional craft breweries. The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival was named the Best Food Festival in 2018 by Gambit readers yet again! Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and we can't wait to see you this year!
