When I got done with grad school, there was only one company who offered me employment of any kind, The Princeton Review. As a former TPR student, I was halfway home to the knowledge needed to pass on test prep success to others as a teacher and tutor - although any teacher can tell you, the content knowledge is only one part. I started my GMAT teacher training 15 years ago this month, and I added GRE, SAT, ACT, and more over the years.

Since 2007, I have worked with all kinds of students, from former professional athletes to blossoming high schoolers, students based all over Southern Louisiana and Mississippi, and more recently from the borough of Manhattan to Portland, Oregon. I can mark life events by which students I was working with at the time, and I am pretty thrilled that some of the students consider our work together pretty important, too..

Anyway, it's been a long time and glad to say it's still going- and it's going better than ever.

July ACT is right around the corner. If you are signed up, make sure your testing center has not decided it is too risky to administer the test!

You can consult this page on the ACT website for current information on test center closings. And even if it is not cancelled as of today, continue to check- and check the ACT account holder's email folders, including spam!

Find out if your ACT test center was rescheduled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.

This month makes 13 years in which I have been prepping students for standardized tests. Every student has been a little different and they have all taught me something about learning and about myself. I hope that i have been able to help them as much as they have helped me.

Hi everyone,

If you are scheduled to take the June ACT, hopefully you have already been preparing and are ready to go (if not I can help). Also, make sure to CHECK YOUR EMAIL for notifications from your test site and/or ACT. While ACT is still administering the June test, many of the usual test sites are opting not to hold the test due to health concerns.

Again, check your email or go to act.org to get an updated list of places the test is not being offered.
