With every cycle comes something new and fresh. Like our moon promises renewal and growth, so does our inner cycle. Be aware though, change isn't always pretty, nor is it always comfortable. Brace yourself and embrace yourself.

One of the things that you don't want to do is to allow your inner child to run wild. It is very easy to let this happen and to also feel like you shouldn't restrict things after being so restricted. This is also very normal.

Gently guide your inner child into this new world where they are safe with you and can grow in a healthy way.

One of the things that helped me in the early days of my shadow work journey was an oracle deck.

I no longer have that particular deck, as she served her purpose, I gifted her to someone that needed guidance.

So, that being said, I want to offer a starting point for all of you. I am struggling with which deck to use. I will switch the decks out monthly, unless called to otherwise. I have several decks to choose from, so... if this one doesn't sit with you, the next one might. If you would like a personal pull or have some questions, please let me know :)

IMPRISONED

She was locked away without the key
She'd been hiding away from all to see
Stuck inside the prison of her mind
She longed for freedom she couldn't find

Her tortured, hollowed heart was broken
Carrying the burden of pain unspoken
Seeking vengeance on all who wronged her
Her heart was closed behind a locked door

Not a soul allowed in, not a soul allowed out
Never to be hurt without a shadow of a doubt
No one could hurt her if she didn't let them in
All alone in the dark but, she still couldn't win

At times, we hide when we've been hurt before
Not wanting anyone to open our hearts door
But, without the dark, we won't see the light
And without a spark, not a thing ignites

We must face our shadows full of strength
Traveling through, no matter the length
Unlock the door to your tortured soul
It's the only way to heal and start to feel whole
