When I started my spiritual journey on the Kemetic path I went to visit Baaba Heru. He gave me a list of books to read. I didn’t visit him at his studio again until I went to order my ankh ring which I was gifting myself for completing my Seba (teacher) training. When I decided to start my priestess initiation I spoke with him about it. He instructed me to write out why I wanted to be initiated and what it meant to me. Months later I returned and gave him what I had written. Last week I was elevated and given the title of Rekhit and received my ankh (IYKYK)…I thought, I need to see Baaba Heru…
