The hospital has been assessed for damage following the fire that occurred early this afternoon, and we plan to return to normal operations at 8pm this evening. The fire started in the kitchen and caused damage to dining services which will remain closed until further notice. All other hospital areas remain operational. Thank you to our staff who diligently provided quality care to our patients throughout this event, and thank you to New Orleans Fire Department for their fast action and support.
