SMNBH is proud to welcome Sara Swan to our team.

Sara Swan, MS, Outpatient Therapist, is a clinical trainee on track for licensed professional counselor (LPC) Licensure. Sara earned her masters degree in counseling from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with an emphasis in clinical mental health counseling along with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has a variety of interests that include trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, grief related struggles, and anxiety disorders. Sara has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, PCIT, grief related struggles, co-dependency, depressive disorders, ADHD, and several other mental health concerns. Sara has a passion for working with clients of all ages with a person centered approach to aid them in improving their quality of life. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and cat, as well as cross stitch and spending time outdoors.
