Are you familiar with this recipe for keto burrata salad? It's delicious and super easy to make!

Ingredients
3 lb. heirloom or beefsteak tomatoes (about 4 large), sliced into 1/2" rounds
1 shallot, finely chopped
Flaky sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/3 c. panko bread crumbs
2 (4-oz.) balls burrata, drained and room temperature
1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
1 tbsp. sliced fresh chives
Crusty bread, for serving

Directions

Step 1
On a rimmed baking sheet, toss tomatoes and shallot; season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Drizzle oil and vinegar over. Let sit until tomatoes have released their liquid and shallots are softened, about 30 minutes.

Step 2
In a small skillet over low heat, toast panko, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl.

Step 3
Layer tomatoes on a large platter. Spoon shallot and juices over top. Sprinkle with panko. Arrange burrata in center of tomatoes and crack open with your hands. Sprinkle with basil, chives, salt, and pepper. And done! Enjoy!

Before exercise or Pre-Hydration

Starting exercise in a well-hydrated state will help improve our performance throughout the physical activity. If we complement our water intake with a balanced diet, our body will obtain the correct amount of electrolytes to start the activity.

During exercise

In low-intensity sessions or workouts that do not exceed 40 minutes, we can base our hydration on small amounts of water that help us recover from the effort and prevent fatigue. The goal will be to compensate for fluid losses with water intake, taken in small doses.

Supplementing our intake with electrolyte-containing beverages will help maintain proper sodium levels, especially if the exercise is of high intensity.

After exercise or Re-Hydration

To recover from our training, it is recommended to drink a volume of liquid equal to 1.5 times the fluid lost. This can be calculated through weighing and will aid in overall recovery.

With good hydration and a balanced diet, you can achieve the best results from your training and continue improving every day to reach your goals.
