Great weekend at HOD in Washington. Dr. Perez BOT representing NY as an alternate delegate. It was a nice surprise to reunite with fellowship director and trauma attending Dr. David Seligson who received the distinguished service citation. A lot was accomplished that weekend and looking forward to next year!

The team was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, expertly guiding shoe selection while recognizing when foot pathology needs attention from a specialist. I tried a new brand based on their recommendation that felt great on the onsite treadmill, and I’m excited to see how they perform on my runs. Suffering from toe pain? Bleeding under your nail? If you stubbed your toe or you noticed your nail becoming dark and very painful, most likely you have bleeding under the nail which creates a lot of pressure and pain. Once you r/o a fracture with X-rays, treatment is simple. Dr. Perez will relieve the pressure by a procedure known as trephination. It involves making a hole or 2 on your nail and drain the liquid out. As soon as the pressure is removed, there is no more pain! Make your appointment today!
