We meticulously clean our cars, ensuring they shine and sparkle. We tidy up our homes, organizing and decluttering every nook and cranny. But how often do we give thought to the clutter that accumulates within our bodies and minds?

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, we often neglect our inner well-being. We carry the weight of stress, worries, and negative thoughts, allowing them to accumulate and create chaos within us. Just as a clean and organized space brings a sense of calm, it is equally important to declutter our inner selves.

Sometimes we look back at our past selves and look at the mistakes and the decisions we made.

We think.. “I wish I would have done things differently” or “I wish I knew then what I know now.”

But instead of staying in a moment I cannot change, I choose to extend love and forgiveness to myself instead.

Forgiveness for the times I fell short.
Forgiveness for the times I said harsh words.
Forgiveness for the times I did things I wish I could erase.
Forgiveness for the times I can’t take back.

Today, I choose to embrace and forgive every version of myself that came before me. I choose to recognize and appreciate all the times I tried my best, even when my best was flawed. I choose to honor the journey I have taken so far.

I remind myself that I was doing the best I could with what I knew at the time.

I acknowledge my progress and celebrate my victories, no matter how small they may seem.

So here's to the young girl who stumbled through life, trying to find her way.

Here's to the teenager who made mistakes but learned from them.

Here's to the woman who took risks, followed her heart, and sometimes fell short.

I embrace and forgive every version of myself that did the best she could with what she knew. And I am grateful for every step of the journey that brought me to where I am today.

We often measure our strength by how much we can endure, how many challenges we can overcome, and how tough we can appear in the face of adversity. But what if the real strength is in the ability to heal?

Healing isn't easy. It requires us to confront our pain, face our demons, and work through the things that have held us back. It's a journey that can be both beautiful and painful, but ultimately it leads us to a place of growth, transformation, and inner peace.

Healing is not about being perfect or invincible, but about having the courage to face your challenges and work through them with resilience, determination, and compassion.

It's about acknowledging that you have been hurt, but refusing to let that hurt define you. It's about learning to love yourself despite your flaws and imperfections, and embracing the power that comes from self-awareness and self-acceptance. It’s about letting go what’s been holding you back.
