Officially halfway through my Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship and feeling so incredibly grateful 🩵

This experience at has been everything I hoped for and more—an opportunity to learn from incredible mentors, continue honing my skillset in the field, and grow both clinically and academically.

From treating patients with injectables, chemical peels, lasers, and energy-based devices on a daily basis, to writing and reviewing clinical manuscripts, attending local and national conferences, and teaching residents, every step along the way has reinforced why I chose this path.

So thankful for the guidance and support of my mentors, and for the opportunity to be immersed in a field that so perfectly blends science, innovation, and artistry.

It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown by, and I’m so excited for all that’s still ahead in the final six months of my training!

Winter weather doesn’t just dry out the skin on your body — it affects your scalp, too 💁🏽‍♀️

Cold air (yes, I’m looking at you Snowpocalypse 2026 🥶) and indoor heat can disrupt the scalp barrier, leading to dryness, itching, flaking, and eczema flares.

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with from to share my thoughts about what to look for in a gentle shampoo for sensitive, eczema-prone scalps.

A few of my personal favorite winter scalp care tips include:

• Use gentle, fragrance-free shampoos that are free of allergens and preservatives that are known to lead to eczema flares

• Avoid scorching hot water (for me, this one is easier said than done 🫣)

• Early treatment is key. If you think you’re experiencing a flare, address it sooner rather than later with a board-certified dermatologist

Major themes of 2025: Self-actualization, laughter, and joy ❤️

- Graduating from dermatology residency
- Freezing my eggs
- Searching high and low for an apartment on StreetEasy… if you know, you know 😩😩
- Moving to NYC and starting fellowship
- Lots of homemade cocktails, Pilates classes, and paid gym taxes
- Sprinting through the airport more than I expected
- Studying for and passing dermatology boards
- Godmother x 2
- Exploring, living, smelling lots of flowers and thriving in my new home, and just enjoying lots of friends, loved ones, and life

Cheers to 2026 ✨

Grateful for a holiday weekend filled with family, lots of laughter and warm ocean breezes 😌

For the past few years we’ve celebrated Thanksgiving abroad, visiting holiday markets and sightseeing. Between graduation, moving from Boston to NYC, studying and taking dermatology board exams, and starting my fellowship year, this time around rest was the priority and I couldn’t be more grateful to trade in the hustle and bustle of the city for slow mornings oceanside.

Closing out 2025 feeling grateful, steady, and proud of how far this year has brought me. Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens in the stillness. Here’s to a strong finish—and an even brighter 2026!

For my fellow trainees and medical friends—what’s helping you recharge as we close out the year?

Harvard Derm ❤️ ASDS

The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) is the largest specialty organization in the United States exclusively representing dermatologic surgeons. It was such a treat to head down to my home state of Florida to spend time learning from the leaders in cosmetic and MOHS surgery, networking, spending quality time with the best co-residents, and squeezing all of my dermatology friends from across the country 🥰

Will I get to see you next year in Chicago? ☺️☺️
