The IPhO Touro NY Student Chapter is dedicated to enhancing student pharmacists’ understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry by:

-Raising awareness of the roles that industry pharmacists play in drug development, appropriate medication use, and other aspects of industry.

-Creating opportunities for student pharmacists to connect with industry pharmacists.

-Providing opportunities to participate in industry-focused scholarly activity.

-Working with IPhO National and local pharmacy school faculty/admin to promote access to industry-focused internship and experiential opportunities.

IPhO/DIA Touro student chapters are proud to host Dr. Son and Dr. Leung, current Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellows. They will be discussing the highly recognized Rutgers Fellowship Program and post- doctoral opportunities for those interested in the pharmaceutical industry.

Please join us to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry, steps you can take now to better prepare for a career in industry, how to secure a fellowship and gain exposure to potential career opportunities.

We recently announced that IPhO is hosting its first standalone National Student Meeting in New Jersey on September 27-28, 2019. Could you please help us inform your chapter members and all other industry-minded students at your school about this valuable opportunity?

The meeting brings together pharmacy students from across the country to engage with prospective fellowship programs and employers, learn about industry from our leadership team, and network with each other.
