Thank you to everyone yesterday who came out in NYC in large numbers, braving the cold and wind to stand up for healthcare as a human right. Your passion is inspiring! When healthcare is under attack, what do we do? Stand up! Fight back!

Thank you to all of our amazing guest speakers who shared their stories and their knowledge. Thank you NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer for speaking and standing in solidarity with us. Excellent opening speech- "I have taken care of patients in Harlem, the Upper West Side, Chelsea, the Upper East Side, the Lower East Side, and Brooklyn. I've seen everything from the sniffles to the critically ill, everyone from the invincible to the invisible and I can tell you that:

Disease doesn't discriminate
Cancer doesn't care about your credit score
Diabetes doesn't know who you voted for
Depression doesn't care about your profession
And Pain is Non-Partisan"- Bernard Kadosh
