Hear me now and hear me loud. Supper is my favorite restaurant in New York City. I have been here every time I visit and none compares. This anolini butternut squash dish is out of this world. I almost asked for a spoon to devour the leftover butter and sage sauce (but I didn’t) . You get the most delicious Italian beans and bread complimentary. This place is a forever gem. @ Supper Restaurant

I got to plan the entire day today with my man and so far it’s been incredible. We went to two lunch spots in china town. & I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try the $2.50 peanut noodles at shujiaofuzhou but could not miss the cold sesame noodles at hwa yuan. Neither one disappointed and it’s the only time besides being pregnant that I ever went for two lunches. Love you Chinatown! @ Hwa Yuan 華園

I made a quick little video today on making homemade pouches for your kiddos (and adults). Ava’s review of the pouch is everything!!! I made these all the time when I was introducing food to Leona but just only started back up for Ava. She’s a good eater and these are just great for when you have time. I steamed 2 pears and 1 sweet potato in the instant pot for 8 minutes. I used a vita mix and poured a cup of whole milk, steamed pears, steamed sweet potato, a dash of cinnamon, and a whole banana. There are so many great combos out there. It made 6 full pouches. I used the infantimo squeeze station and pouches.

Pulled out my cute aprons and got to cooking while the babies were napping...what to do with all this fresh zucchini & squash? Made a huge squash pie with a side of squash and zucchini shoe string fries. Yes, Mark...I will actually cook for shoes.

A little pre birthday dinner fun! True love for myself means making homemade pasta for myself especially on the eve of my birthday.

The recipe for my Penne Pow Veggie pasta is up on www.Iveycooks.com
I made it again last night with the Pow spaghetti noodles. I included asparagus in addition to the other veggies listed. I tried it with follow your heart vegan Parmesan just to make sure I had a vegan option and it was simply excellent. So you can go either way with Parmesan or vegan cheese. Plus it’s already presented as gluten-free. I found that if I really bulk up the veggies, the veggies become the star. It becomes a really tasty yummy dish that happens to have a high protein pasta. I hope you try it and once you make this easy dish, you will find there are so many ways to vary it up. It’s a fine staple. I hope you enjoy this lovely homemade video demonstration with Mark trying to talk to me, laundry buzzers, timers going off, and babies babbling.

I just got back from an amazing trip to New York City. Jumping back in to a dinner menu can be a struggle. Here is one of my go to quick staple meals. 1 package of Chickpea pasta, 1 cup pasta sauce, 1 1/2 cup of gardein beefless ground beef, 1 zucchini into “zoodles”, 1 large bell pepper shredded, about a half cup of pasta water, and a sprinkle of Parmesan. This is high in protein. (About 40 grams of protein per serving. This made two servings) it’s delicious, filling, loaded with extra veggies, and best of all super quick!
