2023 Mindfulness and Mindful Movement Conversations Conference

The annual online Mindfulness Conversations Conference event will be held on October 14-15, 2023.

Saturday, October 14th will focus on Mindfulness in the professions.

Sunday, October 15th will be dedicated to Mindful Movement.

Both days are for Educators, Health Professionals, Law Enforcement, First-Responders, and the Military and are intended to assist attendees and those they work with to find ways to survive and thrive during these uncertain times.

This year’s conversations will be free for everyone and will focus on education and wellness through mindfulness and mindful movement. We will be presenting workshops for teachers, counselors, administrators, psychologists, social workers, school staff, yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi practitioners, physical therapists, athletic trainers, dancers, police officers, fire fighters, and anyone in the military.

The intent of this event is to call together those interested in mindfulness in their field to meet with others to discuss their work, questions, concerns, share ideas and activities, and to create connections so that ongoing conversations can take place.

The conference begins at 8:30am EST with workshops running from 9:00am EST to 9:00pm EST. Sessions will run for 1 hour with a 15-minute Q&A to follow. Videos for the workshops will be sent to those who register once the conference has concluded.

Please register in advance if you would like to receive the recordings of the presentations. The cost per day is $25.00 and the conference schedule with the links will be sent to you when the conference has concluded. Members of the Niagara University Community, Military (active and retired), Law Enforcement, and First Responders will receive the recordings at no cost if registered.
