In this trying times, we are thrown back to our basic needs for survival. But the most devastating effect of all is the crippling psychological stress that goes with it. Our perception towards this scourge is very important as it affects our response. Our body has it's own defense mechanisms to deal with any problem. However, the body can only do this if we are optimally prepared and that starts with our mind. Having a strong and positive mind can enhance the capabilities of our built-in arsenal. We can achieve this by placing ourselves in a relaxed state and defense mode. I usually start with Zen Meditation early in the morning, followed by a moderate aerobic exercise, such as brisk walking for 30 minutes, at the same time promoting healthy gas exchange between you and the trees. Then, followed by a good rubdown(which is non-existent at the moment), and finishing it off with a warm bath. I would advise to limit yourself reading about Covid19, as this will only reinforce the negative side of the spectrum leading to depression. Try to live as normal as possible. This will expand your mind and free you from the constricting world that is Covid19. Living in a pandemic environment is so scary because suddenly you are confronted with your own mortality. Just remember the concept of opposites. If there is darkness, then there is Light. Nature always seek a Balance and when everything is on the same level, this contagion will end.
