Do you know your LDL number?
LDL (“bad”) cholesterol can quietly build up in your arteries, increasing your risk of heart attack and stroke.
Here’s what the American Heart Association reports you should keep in mind:
Ideal LDL for healthy adults is ≤ 100 mg/dL. If you’ve had a heart event already, your target may be 70 mg/dL or lower.
Everyone aged 20 and over should have their LDL checked every 4–6 years (as long as risk remains low).
Healthy habits work together! Manage stress, eat well, move often, and prioritize sleep.
