Welcome Our New Executive Director, Janie! We’re excited to introduce Janie S. as the new Executive Director at Heritage Woods of Newburgh! Janie brings 18 years of experience as a licensed Health Facility Administrator across Indiana, Illinois, and New York. A Memorial High School alum who grew up just a mile from our community, Janie is thrilled to be back home. She holds degrees from the University of Indianapolis and USI, including her master’s in health administration. Janie is married, a mom of 4 grown children, and a proud grandma of 12. She loves attending The Hills Church, bowling, volleyball, watching basketball, and cheering for UK basketball right after cheering for her grandkids’ teams! She also believes in an open-door policy. If you’re visiting loved ones or here for a tour, stop by her office and say hello! Help us welcome Janie to the Heritage Woods family! 💙🏡

Our Story

HERITAGE WOODS OF NEWBURGH IS THE CHOICE FOR OLDER ADULTS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR AN AFFORDABLE ASSISTED LIFESTYLE COMMUNITY.

This three-story building features 120 studio and one-bedroom apartments, and the community offers a full spectrum of services to help older adults embrace their independence.

Built on several acres of land, the community opened in the fall of 2020 and is designed to serve seniors of nearly all income levels.
