We turned up the heat at our 2nd Annual Chili Cook off! 🌶️

Huge shoutout to our amazing residents and team members who brought their A game (and secret ingredients). Events like this remind us how special our community is—full of talent, teamwork, and great taste! ❤️

🏆 1st place (for the second year in a row): Leslie Bryant, with Street Corn Chicken Chili

2nd place: Jane Strebel, with Rio Chili Beans

3rd place: Pat Odell, with Bruce’s Classic Style Chili (Texas State Fair Winner)

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His words and example continue to call us toward unity, dignity, and compassion.

On this day of reflection, we pause to consider how we can live out those values in our daily lives and in community with one another.

We were delighted to volunteer this month at Riverside Elementary School and this time we brought along a resident who was a former principal at Riverside Elementary. So many wonderful stories and memories were shared on this volunteer outing. 📚 ✏️

Mrs. Hancock, a former principal of Riverside Elementary, member of the Riverside Community, and longtime supporter of our students and staff, visited, volunteered, and spread smiles through our halls today.

🎶 We can’t help falling in love…with Elvis🎶

🎉 Today, we celebrated the birthday of the one and only King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley.

🎸 Residents enjoyed watching an Elvis documentary while sipping peanut butter banana smoothies. Some residents even decorated their doors in Elvis’s honor. How fun!

🎁 Our residents have been busy spreading holiday joy! Recently, they filled Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes with gifts, essentials, and heartfelt notes for children around the world.
