Bonita “Bonnie” Louise Rederick
Bonita “Bonnie” Louise Rederick, age 77, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025. Bonnie was born on February 1, 1948, in Addyston, Ohio, to a family and community she loved deeply. Bonnie was the beloved wife of the late Walter Rederick, with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage filled with laughter, faith, and devotion. Together, they built a life centered around love and family. She was a devoted mother to Christina Rederick, Walter Rederick Jr., and Timothy Rederick, and she lovingly remembers her late daughter, Margaret Rederick. A proud mother and grandmother, Bonnie’s life was defined by her compassion and the care she gave to those around her. She found great joy in helping others, often putting their needs before her own. Known for her kindness, generosity, and deep empathy, Bonnie’s gentle spirit left an impression on everyone she met. Her faith in God guided her through life’s trials and joys, and she lived each day as a reflection of her Christian beliefs. Bonnie’s legacy of love and faith will continue through her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and selflessness. “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” – Psalm 73:26

Steven Douglas Carroll, 75, passed away peacefully on October 27 with his daughter by his side. He courageously battled Parkinson’s for over 3 decades. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life and owned Carroll’s Service in Burlington, KY, for many years. Cars were his passion. He loved to drag race at Thornhill as a teen & went onto Jeep racing after that. He enjoyed working on vintage cars & participating in car shows. He is survived by his daughter Kristy (Dean) Abner, stepdaughter Terri (Mike) Bogan and stepson Darren (Susan) Davies. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah and his parents, Clarence & Freda Carroll. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date after the holidays. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to The Parkinson’s Foundation.

Adam Brant Clark, 35, of Alexandria, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17th, 2025. He was born on May 10th, 1990, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Barbara Hurrelbrink and the late Chris Clark. Adam was a passionate fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and loved watching and attending their games. Can I get a WhoDey! He also enjoyed golfing, playing video games, the annual Christmas Eve bowling tradition, and family game nights. Adam cherished his family and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His family was especially proud of his achievement of being sober for over 6 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Chris Clark, and his stepfather, Dan Hurrelbrink. Adam is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Hurrelbrink, and his siblings, Chris Clark (Kathy), Greg Clark (Catherine), and his favorite sister, Jessica Clark. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, Stefanie, Felecia, Elody, Harper, Izzy, and his nephew, Keegan, along with countless aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Adam’s life at The Loyal Order of Moose, located at 5247 Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. The celebration of life will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. Michael David Mahar Sr.
Michael David Mahar Sr. passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, following a courageous nine-month battle with a brain injury. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 28th, 1957, Mike moved with his family to Virginia a few years later and then to Bowie, Maryland, where he grew up. He attended Tulip Grove Elementary, Belair Junior High, and graduated from Bowie High School in 1977. In June that year he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving as a Security Forces Specialist until January 1981. His time in the service was a source of great pride and frequent stories. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and James Mahar, and his brother Ed (Karen). He is survived by his beloved partner of 14 years, Jo; his sons with his former wife Theresa Heigel, Richard (Kim) and Michael Jr.; his grandchildren Kellee, Michael III, Kyle, Emma, Bella, Tristan, and Tyler; and great-granddaughter Marceline. He is also survived by his siblings Ann (Frank), Bruce (Debbie), Jean (Neal), Brenda (Tony), half-brother Ron (Melissa), and half-sister Michaela, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing—especially for bass—target shooting, and building model rockets. He enjoyed cruising with friends and family, swimming, reading fantasy novels like Conan, and listening to classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd and The Moody Blues. He cherished time spent with his sons, teaching them to fish and shoot, and taking trips to Ocean City and Florida. Professionally, Mike worked in copy repair with companies like Capital Copy Products and later ran his own business, ASAP Office Equipment Repair, for many years. In 2011, he moved to Kentucky, where he continued to enjoy the peace of nature and time with Jo and her grandsons, Johnathon and Jacob. Mike will be remembered for his love for family, his adventurous spirit, and his unwavering pride for his family and children. He will be deeply missed. “Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again.” – Unknown A memorial to celebrate Mike’s life will be announced in the coming weeks.
