One more fun event that Dr. H had the chance to participate in this Christmas season was the first ever Reindeer 5K Run/Walk through the trails and wetland lakes of the Watercolor neighborhood on 30A in South Walton. This event was hosted by the Watercolor Community Association who was kind enough to donate all proceeds to the Children's Volunteer Health Network, of which Dr. H serves as president of the board. CVHN provides free dental exams and dental care to students who are part of the free/reduced lunch program in Okaloosa and Walton elementary schools.

Since this event was over the Christmas break, Dr. H was even able to have all his kids run the race with Mrs. H and him. He even had his sons join in on some of the pre-race and post-race juggling and Dr. H even did some in-race juggling!

As the end of the year approaches and as you may be looking to make end-of-the-year financial donations, please consider donating to the Children's Volunteer Health Network to further its mission of providing free dental care to children in need. CVHN has been serving students in Okaloosa and Walton counties for 20 years with over $10 million of donated services to over 22,000 children.

BWOSC just loves everything about the Holidays and the festive atmosphere everywhere you look on the Emerald Coast. Dr. H (aka Dr. Juggles) has been so excited to be asked to be a part of so many different celebrations throughout the area this Christmas!!
Dr. H loves this community and especially all the happy, wide-eyed kiddos at Christmas and has been smiling ear-to-ear as he gets to get out there and have fun with so many while juggling a little bit of everything (even juggling the wisdom teeth of the many high school and college students at his "Day Job" while they are trying to get it taken care of over the holiday break)!

Christmas is such a great time to reflect on all the great dental professionals in Okaloosa and Walton County that help us complete our mission of meeting the oral and maxillofacial needs of our patients throughout the entire year.
This year, Dr. Harrelson had Santa and Buddy the Elf (his sons, Logan and Colby, who were home from Auburn University) to help him spread Christmas cheer to 84 dental and health care professional offices around the area!
A big thank you again to Kevin Arnold of Nothing Bundt Cakes who helps BWOSC each year by preparing these beautiful, festive, and very delicous Christmas Red Velvet cakes!

Rosemary Beach Holiday Tour of Homes was a blast!! It is such a great way to benefit a couple of great local non-profits like Alaqua Animal Refuge and Caring and Sharing of South Walton.

Blue Water Oral Surgery Center had a great time "lighting up the season" with the Rosemary Beach Foundation for the annual Holiday Tour of Homes in beautiful Rosemary Beach, FL.

As sponsors of the Cup Of Cheer, we distributed a cup to every participant that they carried to each decorated holiday home for fun Christmas drinks along the way and shared ways that BWOSC could help them get more for Christmas than "just their two front teeth" by providing information on ways to restore healthy smiles!!

It was a great way to kick off the holiday season last weekend and get everyone in the Christmas spirit!!

The BWOSC staff had a great time sponsoring the Comedy on the Boulevard at Emerald Coast Theatre Company last Saturday night! Jason Hedden did a great job putting the talent together and hosting the evening! Andy Forrester was an excellent headliner and even took time before and after the show to share personal dental stories with Dr. H!
BWOSC added a new 4 foot dental implant to its bag of goodies to use for promo at events and it became a part of the show Saturday night. Jason joked that we should move it to the stage, but Dr. H thought it was just that...a joke. That is until Jason mentioned it in his intro. So, at intermission, Dr. H moved the 4 foot dental implant to the stage and it became a central point of mockery and jokes during the second half of the show. For that reason, all the comics joined Dr. H and the 4 foot implant for a group shot at the close of the show!! All the comics that night were great! (Andy Forrester, Cameron Smith, Malcolm Xavier, and Jason Hedden)
