We helped a customer get moved out of storage and back into their house in Union Pier today. About 18 months ago they had a tree fall through their house in a storm and today we were able to get all of their things loaded from storage and unloaded into their newly remodeled home.

Cool find of the week. Everyone who knows me knows I’m a Die hard Packers fan. We’ve been helping a client get her antique shop moved around and situated and came across this painting from 1965

I asked if it was for sale and she told me it was her husband’s and would talk to him. I stopped by yesterday to pick up a junk fridge from her garage and she told me her husband said i could have it!
Im convinced it was painted for a Colts fan beings they are from Indianapolis but it’s such a cool piece it is now for a Packers fan!

My first “real” job that wasn’t fast food was a small company in Kingsford Heights Indiana. I was 17 and already had a family I needed to provide for. We made models of teeth and bones just like the one in the picture.

Fast forward to today. I’m cleaning out an estate in Laporte and found the model in the picture. A man who is part of this estate held over 50 othodontic patents!
What a full circle moment for me from the stupid kid I was just trying to squeak by, to the man I am today providing a great life for my family!

34 years ago today I came into this world. 34 years later and I’m still trying to figure it out.

Everyone says you should spend your birthday relaxing and enjoying the day. I say it’s just another day to work and build your future.

Today though, my wife has the day off so I woke her up early and convinced her to pay for my breakfast.
