Hi! I’m an Occupational Therapist (OT) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Want to know what that actually means? ⬇️

As an OT, I look at how feeding happens. Oral motor function, body positions, posture, coordination, co-regulation, and overall development — basically how yours and your baby’s body are working during feeds.

As an IBCLC, I focus on lactation itself: milk production, latch, supply, pumping, and how parent and baby come together to support breastfeeding, body-feeding, or lactation.

I wear both hats so I can look at the whole feeding picture — not just the mouth or the milk — and provide integrated feeding care. 🎩🧢

In just one month, I’ll be taking the IBCLC exam—the last big step in this part of the journey. It’s wild to think that I started diving deep into lactation in Fall 2023, and now here I am, running my own little business (it’s standing on all four legs!) and almost an IBCLC.

But really, this journey started long before that—when I became a mom. My own struggles sparked a deep desire to see new parents, support them, and help them find their own confidence. Lactation is just the door that lets me in

Here’s to all the families I’ll get to walk alongside. 💗
