Delight In Life, LLC We Help you Find your inherent joy and wisdom through body work, health coaching, mentoring programs, movement, energy healing and retreats.

Heidi teaches and sees clients in Laguna Beach, CA and Nokesville, VA. Heidi Started her Journey at age 17, 43 years ago when she came across her first yoga master from India who peeked her natural curiosity about the body and mind. From this point Heidi has been fascinated with how the world we live in and create for ourselves affects us and our well-being. She received her first certifications in applied kinesiology when she was 21 and has continued to study Energy Medicine, movement and the art of ritual and ceremony. Even while in corporate America teaching internationally in the computer industry she continued to study internationally and work with clients privately. Finally, in 2001 after 911 she left her corporate position of 25 years realizing her heart was in helping people to heal and feel whole. Heidi has felt blessed and honored to have learned and shared with hundreds of clients over the years and studying with wonderful teachers like Roselyn Breyer, Hyemeyohsts Storm, Debra Ray, Emilie Conrad and Sobonfu Some’. She has had the joy of spending time in the Peruvian Andes and Rainforest, Bolivia, Mexico, Europe, Nepal and the united states studying with the indigenous people. In addition, she is a certified and licensed massage therapist, movement teacher, health coach and author of three books. She currently resides bi-coastally in Laguna Beach California and Nokesville Virginia spending time with clients and family, building a retreat center and enjoying life.

Nature is truly wonderful. This is why I have let most of the 7 acres I care for go to meadow. I have seen flowers, insects, and bird that have not been around in years. The fire flys this year are already plentiful.
I posted earlier and will say it again. Let the earth be our lover and treat the earth with deep reverence, care and love and she will treat you the same.

After the most recent retreat I realized what makes HAP different.

Most centers provide food, lodging and a natural setting. They do not provide the additional support facilitators need to avoid the feeling of burnout, distraction and sometimes chaos that can occur.

What we do is provide a great place to stay - Delicious food, nice lodging... and extra support for you the facilitator.

1. We create a sacred space for you, so you can easily create your special sacred space for your guests.

2. An extra set of eyes making sure all the guests feel safe and welcome. If anything is noticed we bring it to your attention right away.

3. Energy support through hands on work that helps you as a facilitator stay energized and grounded with little effort.

I have over 30 years experience creating and running retreats. One of the recent retreats held at the center had the "Covert Saboteur" show up in a couple of guests. This is the part of us that wants to run away from the internal part that is ready for healing.

It can create distraction and chaos in the group and is completely unconscious and can be hard to spot. Because of my training I saw this happening and brought it to the attention of the leaders of the workshop. They were then able to address it right away and avoid what could have been a mess.
