Monday’s final class ended with a surprise goodbye gathering: Parents and kids who have been involved with Nature’s Pace for years (and who were free at 4:45 on a frigid Monday afternoon!) gathered with cards and gifts and painted rocks! My heart is full and I can’t thank you enough for supporting my grassroots nature idea… it has only been a success because of YOU ALL!

Keep playing outside - catching frogs- building forts- climbing trees -exploring streams - painting with mud - watching the clouds drift by… It does a body (and mind) good!! ❤️

FIRE 🔥 & ICE 🧊 to wrap up the last Nature’s Pace class today. S’mOreos and reminiscing about years of memories with this awesome group of middle schoolers made it a little easier to say goodbye ❤️🙏❤️

These lessons and traits help create young adults / adults who are more likely to take risks and step out of their comfort zones throughout life… because they know that even if they face “failure”, recovering and learning from a “failure” makes them smarter and tougher!

We celebrated 6 weeks of wintery outdoor play with a firepit and s’mores and a final reading of Dear Girl by Amy and Paris Rosenthal.

Our last class had a wonderous surprise:
The Rolling Ridge Bald Eagle was perched out on Small Island in the middle of Lake Cochichewick! Our adventure walk on the ice led us right to him 🦅
