It used to be called a “VIP list,” but honestly? I want it to become less about promotions and more about people.

So it’s evolving into something that feels more like a community—a place for expecting, new, and seasoned mamas to feel supported, inspired, and understood.

We said goodbye to our sweet Bubba yesterday.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He left hearing that he was the BEST boy and that we loved him. 🩵
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our hearts are broken, but at peace knowing he was declining and is no longer in pain.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can’t imagine a better cat to have blessed our family for 9 years. We will miss the way he more wheezed than purred, drooled when he was happy, and came to lay on you the second you put a blanket on your lap. We’ll miss him sitting in front of the fridge at 5pm begging for his food, the way he met us at the door after a trip, and the how he’d defend his house to the neighborhood cats outside our windows. We’ll miss the way he’d love to be held like a baby, and how patient and loving he was towards the girls.

I hope there’s plenty of cabinet doors, light reflections, and scraps of paper to play with in kitty-heaven. ☁️

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday!
34 was a great one - some highlights included:
✨ New Orleans
✨ Time with friends
✨ Beach time
✨ Murder Mystery game night
✨ Disney World with my mom and twin brother
✨ School field trips
✨ Horse races
✨ Lazy mornings and Snapchat filters
and ✨family time around the holidays

Looking forward to what the next year brings!

My word for 2026 is intentional.

Less reacting. Less feeling like I’m always catching-up.
More planning ahead, pausing before the next step, and being fully present with the people and moments that matter most.

Saying goodbye to 2025 🤍

My word this year was confidence, and I’ve felt it taking shape—not perfectly or all at once, but steadily (with only a few setbacks). I’ve grown closer in friendships, deeper in my faith, and more clear in what God’s calling me to. I’m so thankful for the travel, the family time, and all the little (and big) firsts that made this year what it was.

To finish off this year for my business: I'm so thankful for my clients and being invited in to witness the love and connection of your growing families, and yes—I’m already booking spring and summer portraits + due dates!

Okay, I want to hear your thoughts—when is it officially acceptable to decorate for Christmas? 🎄

Because the stores have been ready since… September. Holiday music is sneaking onto playlists. And I know some of you already have trees up (I see you 👀).

Meanwhile, our house is still all-in on fall. 🍂 We host Thanksgiving, and I love soaking up every bit of cozy autumn decor before the Christmas bins come out the day after. Priorities, right?

Fall break is officially over today, and I'm *partly* in mourning over its end (at least we head to the mountains this weekend).

We had the BEST time together at Disney! It's truly one of the most magical vacations with children–getting to see it all through their eyes. 🏰

Some highlights from this trip include:
✨ Eating inside The Grand Floridian Resort for the first time (I've always wanted to see it!)–we loved 1900 Park Fare
✨ Meeting the absolute BEST Mirabel ever–I couldn't have written a cast compliment faster
✨ Pool-time on a built-in rest day
✨ Spending the week with my mom and brother, too 🤍
✨ Getting absolutely SOAKED on a roller coaster (when we didn't know it had even begun raining til our cars pulled out of the tunnel!)
✨ Experiencing the Star Wars land after we watched the movies together in prep for our trip
✨ Vacation time with my favorite person ❤️
✨ E losing her FIRST tooth at Disney!
✨ And overall just being so proud of my girls and getting to spend a week of dedicated quality-time together 💕
