As most of my close friends and family know, I was injured at the prison I worked at over 10 years ago, I won’t bore you with the years of Dr visits, numerous ankle surgeries, a nerve surgery, physical therapy and constant court battles fighting workmans comp, it was awful. I have a permanent mobility disability in my left leg as well as CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome) several years ago I contemplated a BTK (below the knee) amputation but was advised it would not stop the pain. I try very hard to stay active but it’s very challenging. In the course of one of my rehabs after ankle surgery, it was recommended I try to wear an ExoSym brace which has been proven to help immensely with CRPS and mobility (I have attached the link for review). Now workmans comp would never approve me for this brace due to the cost of not only the fitting/fabrication, but for the travel and extensive stay at the Hangar Clinic in Washington state. I have saved for the last couple of years to make this dream a reality and hope that it will restore my quality of life to almost normal. Most patients do a go fund me or some sort of crowd funding but I did not go that route. I am budgeted down to the penny and I have a tentative pre-approval from Cigna (my health insurance)for coverage for the brace, however, I do have a co-pay which is quite high. I am finding it so much more expensive here in WA than back home in Amish, OH! All I am asking is if you are so inclined to help ease the financial burden, you may do so by going to my business website and making a purchase of my all-natural products (please allow additional time for shipping upon my return the 1st week of July) If you aren’t interested in herbal products, no worries, I will take prayers for safe travels, physical therapy/rehab, Cigna doesn’t give me a hard time with approval for the brace, and a safe flight back home in July.
